Services we offer

Consultation

We start our relationship by finding out how we can best help you.

Every one of our clients has unique requirements, so we will need to get to know each other a bit. Things we like to consider are your intended market or end use, the type of garments and artwork that you are using, your budget considerations and a timeframe for the finished product. We will also discuss your post print needs and freight options.

Email for a quote, or book an appointment in our showroom.

Films and Colour Separation

Our design studio takes your final art and using computer software separates the elements in the design to create a separate image (also called a plate or positive) for each colour in your design.

We then print each plate onto a piece of film which is then used by our screen making department. We accept artwork on Hard-Disk, Flash Drive, CD/DVD, or via email and online sharing services.

Screen Making

Using the films (sometimes called separations), we create a stencil using a light sensitive coating applied to a fine meshed screen.

Each colour in your design has it’s own screen (or stencil) that will be used to create the print. This process can be hard to understand until you have actually seen it happening.

We’ve made a short film of our screen room team in action, take a look.

Ink Matching and Colour Mixing

Pick a colour! Once your artwork is finalised, we prepare the inks required for the screen-printing process.

The colours and ink types are checked to ensure they match your specification and fabric requirements. We match colours using the Pantone Matching System (PMS), and check them under industry standard lighting. We can also match fabric swatches if required. Some inks can be modified to create special effects and finishes.

Strike-offs and Samples

For customers that require samples, we set-up and print the design onto fabric swatches or a small quantity of garments for pre-production approval, salesman samples or third party testing.

We also have a photo booth for clients that prefer to see a photo of their job before proceeding.

Please read our FAQ's regarding Sampling and the Storage of screens.

Printing

Our factory in Brooklyn, in Melbourne’s inner west, is regarded as the most up to date, clean and efficient screen-printing facility in Australia.

We have invested in modern machines that allow us to offer complete flexibility to our clients, and our team take great pride in their ability to achieve very fast lead times without sacrificing the superior quality we’ve built our reputation on. The low minimum order quantity and high volume capacity on our multiple production lines means we can handle any size job, from 20 to 20,000 pieces! We print up to 14 colours in a range of sizes, and have the experience required to produce great looking prints on most fabric types.

We can also remove labels from stock supply apparel and apply your own custom branding.  Our crew can arrange the sewing of woven labels, or apply our speciality soft feel screen-print inside your T-shirts. For sports teams and special events, we have a range of heat applied athletic numbers and can produce individual names.
